| Overview |
| |
| Marblehead High School has participated
in interscholastic athletics for over 80 years. During
this time, many outstanding athletes have worn the
red and black colors of the teams known as "Magicians." In
addition, there have been individuals who have served
the athletic program with dedication and distinction,
either as coaches or supporters. |
| |
| The Marblehead Boosters Club, a parent
support group founded in 1966, felt the permanent recognition
of these individuals was long overdue. As a result,
members of the Boosters Club formed the Marblehead
Boosters Club Hall of Fame. The nominating committee
consists of members from the community, school administration,
school committee, or Boosters Club. The decisions on
who should become inductees are difficult because there
are many truly outstanding individuals who are eligible.
The nominating committee feels strongly that the final
choices are made fairly, democratically, and most importantly,
in a true spirit of cooperation. |
| |
| The Marblehead Boosters Club Hall of
Fame will continue to grow in size. It is the goal
of the Marblehead Boosters Club Hall of Fame to enhance,
preserve, and perpetuate our athletic traditions through
the continued induction of deserving athletes and supporters.
All nominations received but not selected this year
will remain eligible for three years. |
| |
| Please watch for news releases in the
fall of 2007 for information about future Hall of Fame
nomination deadlines. Please consider nominating a
former classmate or teammate in an attempt to perpetuate
the Marblehead Boosters Club Hall of Fame. |

Sincerely,
