- Scholarship funded by local man at his death
- Expected amount each year for scholarships
$200,000-$300,000
- Scholarships are need-based
- Applications available in Guidance Department
- Expected to be a few large scholarships

Team-Up –Delia
Barrett and Kate Nightingale
- Team-Up asking for $1,600 to support the
2007-2008 speaker series
- Moved and Seconded to appropriate $1,600 to
Team-Up. Motion was defeated.
- Discussion followed regarding the appropriateness
of funding an organization not directly related to the High School
Parentsı Council – John Ziergiebel
- Request for funds to bring Mr. Coffin to the High
School in conjunction with the Marblehead reads program.
- Moved and seconded to fund $250 for program. Consensus of the group was to
expand this performer to additional students. Parents Council voted to approve $250 with an increase
to $400 if Mr. Coffin is able to make the program available to additional
students.
Magic Hat Proceeds
- High School allocation of funds must be payable
directly to organization on behalf of the High School. Possible allocation could be the
Coffin program.
Additional Team-Up
discussion
- In light of above expenditure approvals, an
additional conversation regarding the appropriateness of a grant to
Team-Up ensued. Moved and
seconded to fund the group at a lower amount of $400. After additional conversation, the
Vote was 8 Yes and 9 No. The
motion was defeated
Principalıs Update
- Mr. Ziergiebel presented the new Report Card
format including a career to date G.P.A.
- Discussion of school safety in light of recent
incident at Lincoln-Sudbury High School. Mr. Z. believes that school climate is the best
guarantee of school safety.
The suggestion was made to institute a method to anonymously report
suspicious activity.
- Budget update was presented. Included in the budget is an
increase of a 1.0 Health/P.E. teacher.
