LIBRARY PASSES
1. Twenty-five students per class period will be allowed to use the library.
2. The students will be released from their directed study to come to the library.
3. Only the library gives out passes for students to come to the library during directed studies. Passes are not to be given out by the directed study teachers.
4. Students must obtain a library pass from the library before their directed study period. Students should bring one-half of the library pass to their directed study teacher at the beginning of their directed study. The students should then bring the second half of the pass to the library for their directed study period.
5. The library maintains a list of students who have been given passes for each period and takes attendance. Only those students whose names are on the list will be allowed to enter. Students with library passes are to remain in the library for the whole period.
6. Any student who abuses the
library pass system or whose behavior in the library is not appropriate
will lose library privileges and be subject to school discipline.
